About the Role

Are you passionate about pets and looking to make a difference in their lives? Village Pet Villas is hiring a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team! As a Kennel Tech, you’ll provide loving care to dogs and cats, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy during their stay with us. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise for pets 

• Maintain clean and safe environments for all pets 

• Monitor health and behavior, and report any concerns to the supervisor 

• Assist in grooming and bathing when needed 

• Ensure excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners 

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience with animals preferred, but not required 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask 

• Passionate about animal welfare and working in a pet care environment 

• Ability to work well with a team and independently 

• Must be physically able to lift and handle pets of all sizes

Responsibilities: 

• Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, grooming, and exercise. 

• Maintain clean and safe environments for all animals in our care. 

• Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the management. 

• Administer medications as needed and follow health care protocols. 

• Assist in customer service, including answering questions about animal care and boarding services. 

• Ensure kennel areas are sanitary and properly maintained. 

Requirements: 

• Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, veterinary office, or similar setting. 

• Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts. 

• Strong understanding of animal care and behavior. 

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both animals and clients. 

• Must be reliable, responsible, and have a passion for animal welfare.
