About the Role
Are you passionate about pets and looking to make a difference in their lives? Village Pet Villas is hiring a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team! As a Kennel Tech, you’ll provide loving care to dogs and cats, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and happy during their stay with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care, feeding, and exercise for pets
- Maintain clean and safe environments for all pets
- Monitor health and behavior, and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist in grooming and bathing when needed
- Ensure excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with animals preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Passionate about animal welfare and working in a pet care environment
- Ability to work well with a team and independently
- Must be physically able to lift and handle pets of all sizes

Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, grooming, and exercise.
- Maintain clean and safe environments for all animals in our care.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the management.
- Administer medications as needed and follow health care protocols.
- Assist in customer service, including answering questions about animal care and boarding services.
- Ensure kennel areas are sanitary and properly maintained.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with animals in a kennel, veterinary office, or similar setting.
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts.
- Strong understanding of animal care and behavior.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both animals and clients.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and have a passion for animal welfare.
