About the Role

Are you a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician looking for your next opportunity? Village Veterinarian is seeking a dedicated, passionate, and knowledgeable Vet Tech to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, and surgeries 

• Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work, x-rays, and ultrasounds 

• Monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgeries 

• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed 

• Provide client education on pet care, treatments, and preventative health 

• Maintain accurate patient records and medical history 

• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff 

Qualifications: 

• Veterinary Technician degree or equivalent experience required 

• Certification (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred, but not required 

• Strong understanding of veterinary medicine and medical terminology 

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment 

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude 

• Compassionate and caring approach to working with pets and their owners
